Physical Therapist - Vacaville, CA

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Correctional Facility in Vacaville, California
Pay Rate: $65.50 to $67.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time contract, 6 to 9 months (with potential for extension)

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years in a clinical setting
• Active California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)
• Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Up-to-date clinical skills and competencies

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based Physical Therapy services in accordance with CDCR facility protocols
• Provide therapy upon physician referral and written order
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with existing documented diagnoses
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain compliance with institutional standards
• Work collaboratively with healthcare and custodial teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
