Our office is open from Tuesday-Saturday, making weekend availability a preference. We are a one-on-one clinic, meaning our patients work privately with the same clinician for every visit. Our team is committed to helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our licensed physical therapist, Dr. Vincent DiPersia, in providing hands-on care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Escort patients to and from treatment areas.
• Create home exercise programs for patients under the guidance of a physical therapist.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
• Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere by being friendly and creating positive bonds with patients.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Weekend availability (Tuesday-Saturday)

Schedule:

• Our office is open Tuesday through Saturday.
• Hours are based on patient necessity but typically range from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday to Friday, and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturdays. However, flexibility is required as hours may vary and occasionally to accommodate patient needs. Please note that hours may also vary based on cancellations or unforeseen circumstances.
