We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving residents’ mobility, strength, and overall function. The PTA plays a vital role in promoting residents' recovery and independence through compassionate care and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.


• Assist residents in performing exercises and activities designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.


• Monitor residents’ progress during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.


• Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to continue therapy goals outside of sessions.


• Document therapy sessions, residents’ progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to resident care.


• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.


• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Colorado.


• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach.


• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.


• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
