Physical Therapy Assistant - Join a Market Leader

Based out of St. Louis, MO, Therapy Relief at Hope has provided services to individuals with for over 30 years, including speech-language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior therapy, and music therapy. Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides and oversees physical therapy treatments in a variety of environments to assist clients to attain, improve, or maintain their maximum level of functional movement.

Physical Therapy Assistant Essential Duties:

• Implement physical therapy plans for designated adult patients, documenting service implementation and patient responses.
• Assist in training staff, caretakers, and/or family members in appropriate body mechanics, range of motion activities, and device use.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 21 years of age or older.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Associate’s degree or higher from a physical therapist assistant program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated professional communication skills with all levels of employees.
• Enhanced understanding of medical/clinical records, consents, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications.
