We're hiring a full-time W-2 Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide K–12 school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you're an experienced school SLP or new to the field, you’ll be supported by a team that understands the real challenges and joys of this work—and is here to help you thrive.

Position Details

• Caseload: K-12 Support


• Schedule: Monday – Friday 


• Hours: 37.5 hours/week


• Dates: ASAP – May 2027


• Location: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist to support students' mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence


• Provide individual and group therapy services to students with physical, developmental, and motor-related needs


• Assist students with improving balance, posture, gross motor skills, mobility, and safe participation in school activities


• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, teachers, families, and other school staff to support students' educational and functional goals


• Document student progress, maintain accurate therapy records, and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist

Qualifications

•  ​​Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and successful completion of required clinical education


• Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant license through DORA, or eligibility for licensure


• Pediatric, school-based, or experience working with children/students with disabilities preferred


• Familiarity with IEPs and special education services preferred
