Chiropractic Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a Chiropractic Assistant(will provide training) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine clinical and administrative assignments to deliver excellent health care and keep the medical facility running smoothly.

RegisteredChiropractic Assistant (willing to assit to register with state and train)

Responsibilities including but not limited to

• Perform mechanical traction, therapeutic exercises.
• Assist doctor performing chiropractic patient therapy and rehabilitation.
• Supervise patient during procedures, informing doctor of any changes or issues.
• Perform Re-examination history to note patient's progress
• Perform electronic postural evaluations
• Process electronic postural evaluations
• Perform electronic Range-of-motion
• Perform feet scans for custom orthotics
• Instruct patients on Activities of daily living (ADL)
• Maintain electronic health records

* Act as the go-between to help manage an efficient flow of patients.

* Serves as the face of the office and friendly greet each patient arriving for an appointment

• Ensure that any delays to see the chiropractor is communicated in a patient-friendly manner.
• Excellent written & oral communication skills.
• Excellent phone skills and to work with existing and new patients to help set up appointments.
• Basic office automation computer skills. (email, printers, scanners, PC & iPad)
• Ability to Learn Electronic Health Records system. (Chirotouch software)
• Excellent People Skills.

• Qualifications:
• Knowledge of kinesiology or kinesiolgy degree helpful
• Previous experience in Chiropractic, Physical Therapy or Medical fields
• Registered Chiropractic Assistant is highly desired
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Coming to work on time and ready to work

Salary: $16.00 to $24.00 /hour

Experience:

• Chiropractic / Physical Therapy office: 2 years Minimum or Bachelor's Degree

Education:

• Associates Degree Required ( Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
