Physical Therapy Technician

Schedule: Monday- Friday 

*Must be able to work multiple locations in Anchorage, Eagle River or Wasilla.

What You’ll Do:

• 
  Assisting patients with light exercises during physical therapy


• 
  Helping patients move throughout the room as needed.


• 
  Cleaning and preparing the treatment areas and equipment before and after each session.


• 
  Changing and washing patients’ linens and pillows.


• 
  Recording patients’ progress for the Physical Therapist.


• 
  Performing clerical tasks such as answering the phones and scheduling appointments.


• 
  Ordering and arranging supplies


• 
  Fitting patients with basic braces.


• 
  Assist the Physical Therapist with the clinic flow and transition.

What You Need For This Job:

• 
  High School Diploma


• 
  Must reside in or near Anchorage, Alaska.


• 
  Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook Programs


• 
  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.


• 
  Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.


• 
  Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.


• 
  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
