What You'll Do
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists
- Implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and geriatric patients
- Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence
- Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology to enhance treatment outcomes
- Document patient care using Prompt EMR and AI-assisted tools
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with therapists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences
- Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives, including fall-prevention programs
Qualifications
- Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation
