This position is for a spine and posture rehab doctor's assistant in a chiropractic office setting.
We will train you.
Hours are morning and afternoon shifts: Total about 32-34 hours, starting hourly pay $20-22/hour
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30am-12pm and 2:30pm-7pm
Tuesday from 2:30pm-7:00pm
The applicant should be positive, solution oriented, team player, open to learn and help our patients achieve their health goals. You will be working alongside the doctor and independently in an open adjusting/therapy/rehab area.
We will train you on how to use various traction equipment and how to help setup patients, so you should be comfortable being hands on with our patients and working with equipment you'll be trained on. You should physically fit yourself to be successful.
Best to think of this as a physical therapy assistant/aide type of position. You will be very hands on by setting up patients on rehab equipment, charting and documenting their progress, noting any challenges to the doctor, encouraging patients along their progress.
You should have your own transportation and live in Nassau County or it's close proximity.
About Garfinkel Family Chiropractic in Bellmore
We have been serving Bellmore and the neighboring communities since 1992.
Our Philosophy
Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold.
1. Relief Care in Bellmore
Many people seek care in our practice and have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:
- Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
- Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
- Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
- Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Wellness Care in Bellmore
We’re committed to teaching our patients that true health is a journey, not a destination. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.
