The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician to provide professional medical direction, oversight, and hands-on care within a correctional facility setting. This is a meaningful role for a provider who values structure, collaboration, and impactful service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medical care: conduct exams, diagnose, prescribe, and follow up.
  

• Serve as a clinical leader alongside the Health Services Supervisor.
  

• Conduct medical rounds and lead treatment team discussions.
  

• Perform minor surgeries and oversee critical inpatient cases.
  

• Ensure compliance with standards (e.g., NCCHC, ACA, JCAHO).
  

• Maintain accurate documentation and secure medical records.
  

• Act as a mentor and motivator to medical staff.
  

• Respond to emergencies and provide health education to inmates/residents.
  

• Maintain security awareness and adhere to correctional facility protocols.
