NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a trusted leader in healthcare for over 135 years, is seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Cardiology team.

About the Role

Our Interventional Cardiology service is dedicated to delivering advanced, world-class care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care—from diagnostics to urgent interventions and ongoing management.

In this role, you will:

• Perform pre- and post-procedure evaluations for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology cases
• Provide inpatient consults and follow-up care, including device interrogations
• Conduct pre-arrival telehealth assessments to support care coordination
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Schedule

• Per diem, weekday coverage only
• 13-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Minimum of 2–3 shifts per month

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cardiac catheterization (cath lab) or electrophysiology (EP lab)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State PA license
• NCCPA certification
• ACLS and BLS certification
• New York State Infection Control certification
• DEA registration with NYS Opioid Prescriber training compliance
