Healthcare United is seeking a Physician Assistant to join an established orthopedic and NeuroSpine practice in North Central Florida.
The Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with experienced spine physicians while providing comprehensive clinical care to patients with orthopedic, spinal, and neurological conditions. The position may be structured as a clinic -focused role or a combination of outpatient clinic and operating room responsibilities based on experience and preference.
New graduates are welcome to apply, and experienced Physician Assistants with orthopedic, spine, neurosurgery, pain management, or surgical backgrounds are strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with spinal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Conduct comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and follow -up visits
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with spine physicians
• Review imaging studies, diagnostic testing, and treatment progress
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
• Assist physicians in the operating room based on experience and position structure
• Perform clinic procedures within the provider’s training and scope of practice
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Manage an outpatient caseload of approximately 20 patients per day
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Orthopedics, NeuroSpine, neurosurgery, pain management, or surgical experience preferred
• New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedic and spine care are welcome
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• No visa sponsorship is available at this time

• Compensation ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 based on experience
