Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Physician Assistant in Arcata, California.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Outpatient, panel-based Physician Assistant role serving patients with complex medical and preventative care needs
• Opportunity to practice mission-driven medicine within a collaborative coastal Northern California healthcare organization
• Integrated care environment with strong interdisciplinary support allowing providers to focus on patient-centered care delivery
• Access to behavioral health, chiropractic care, specialty consult services, and telehealth resources
• Structured onboarding and mentorship program designed to support provider success and long-term retention

COMPENSATION
• Base Salary: $148,627.20 – $168,553.60
• $12,400 annual access bonus paid biweekly for meeting 9-patient clinic target
• Up to $44,000 annual production bonus potential
• Partnership-eligible providers:
    • $25,000 sign-on bonus
    • Structured retention bonus program
• Alternative sign-on and retention structure available for non-partnership track providers
• $10,000 relocation reimbursement
• Additional $10,000 relocation assistance available for qualifying parent or in-law relocation support

SCHEDULE
• Full-time outpatient schedule
• Five 8-hour clinic shifts weekly

CLINICAL SUPPORT MODEL
• 2 Medical Assistants assigned per provider
• 0.7 RN support per provider
• Integrated behavioral health services
• Chiropractic and specialty consult resources
• Telehealth support services

• $5,000 annual professional expense credit for licensing, DEA, CE, and equipment

• NHSC and federal loan repayment eligibility ranging from $75,000 to $300,000 depending on program participation and service commitment

• Active California Physician Assistant license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
• Board Certified Physician Assistant REQUIRED
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred
• Three or more years of outpatient experience preferred
• Comfortable managing complex primary care patients within collaborative outpatient environment REQUIRED
• Passion for rural health and underserved patient populations strongly preferred
• Team-oriented and mission-driven mindset REQUIRED
• Spanish language skills are a plus and eligible for differential pay
