  • Prescribe medications within state guidelines and clinic policies.
  • Provide general health education on topics such as nutrition, family planning, emotional well-being, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate outpatient records, compile required reports, and support research or data needs as assigned.
Procedures & Interventions
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including immunizations, injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Assist physicians during emergency treatments and more complex procedures.
Collaboration & Professional Judgment
  • Exercise sound clinical judgment and consult with supervising physicians as needed to ensure appropriate treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high-quality patient care.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Record statistics, assist with research activities where needed, and perform other related duties as assigned.
We’re Looking for a Candidate that…
  • Brings a positive, energetic attitude and strong work ethic
  • Is comfortable practicing at the top of their scope making clinical decisions, including prescribing medications
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented practice
  • Takes a patient-centered approach that builds trust and confidence
  • Is motivated to learn, grow, and develop pain management and imaging interpretation skills
Qualifications
  • Completion of a four-year physician assistant baccalaureate program or Master’s program/Doctorate for NP plus one year of clinical training; or a two-year accredited PA/NP program (requiring two years of prior undergraduate study) plus two years of clinical training.
  • Ongoing compliance with continuing education requirements: 100 CME hours every two years and recertification every ten years (PA) or five years (NP), per governing board requirements.
  • Accreditation through the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistants.
  • Competence with or willingness to learn joint injections, trigger point injections, and Botox injections.
  • Comfortable with medication management.
  • Pain management experience is preferred but not required; training and support are available for the right candidate.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers.
  • Current state license.
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Current, unrestricted DEA license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods; communicate clearly in English; use both hands for fine motor tasks; lift 10–25 lbs and push up to 300 lbs; and maintain 20/20 vision with required depth perception and focus adjustment.
