Physician Breast Imaging Remote/Hybrid

Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our practice includes 190 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: ARS provides services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan.   We are the exclusive radiology provider to Corewell Health’s Betty Ford Breast Care Services, Bronson Breast Health Center, Covenant Breast Health Center, MyMichigan Midland Center for Women’s Health, and Marie Yeager Cancer Center. All sites are accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Only the top five percent of US breast centers have this NAPBC accreditation which means we can deliver the best care in diagnosing and treating breast cancer. We perform more than 362,744 breast imaging studies and diagnostic services annually. 

What we are looking for:   

We are seeking a remote Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our team. This is a full-time partnership track position and will provide reads for multiple breast centers. Ideally this candidate would do 5 to 6 weeks of on-site work in Michigan to keep procedural skills and make the remote diagnostic work more effective. Travel expenses would be fully covered and there will also be opportunity to do some screeners and pick up additional shifts as desired aligning with skill set. We offer 2 partnership tracks including a standard option working 39 weeks and 11 weekends with 13 weeks of vacation OR a weekday only option with no nights or weekends and 8 weeks off. 

Responsibilities:

· Interpret digital mammography, breast MRI, screening MRI, tomosynthesis and breast ultrasound

Why do you want to do telerad for us? ARS is a 100% physician owned and managed practice.  Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice.  We employed remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states.  We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side with a very strong Breast Imaging section. 

Compensation/Benefits: We offer a 50K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus), competitive compensation plan, stipends for on-site shifts, and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($70,000 in 2025). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and we have a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit! 

· Candidates must be proficient in all aspects of breast imaging 

· American Board of Radiology or AOBR certified 

· Completion of a breast imaging fellowship or equivalent experience
