Physician - Family Practice - (Outpatient/NO on-call and up to $180k Loan Repayment Eligibility)

Legacy Community Health is looking for an experienced Physician specializing in Family Practice to join our Deer Park Clinic team

National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Program-Pays up to $50,000 for every 2 years of service at an FQHC

Texas Physician Education Loan Repayment Program (PELRP) - Pays up to $180,000

About the Position

The Family Practice Physician will be working at a large FQHQ in a medically underserved community focusing mainly on adult patients. You will need to be comfortable treating adults during evaluation, treatment, and management. Although many patients will come to you with acute issues, you will also need to screen for all chronic diseases. This position may also include clinical oversight for mid-level providers. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.

Requirements

• Medical Doctorate (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Current Texas licensure
• Must have a current DEA License
• Primary Care Speciality (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
• Community healthcare experience
• Spanish speaking, preferred
