Physician - Institutional Healthcare(Correctional Facility)

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care including exams, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Lead and support clinical operations with Health Services Supervisor
• Conduct rounds, review admissions, and participate in treatment planning
• Perform minor surgical procedures as necessary
• Supervise and mentor healthcare staff
• Ensure compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and JCAHO standards
• Maintain secure, confidential, and accurate medical records
• Manage emergency response protocols and on-call duties

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active Kansas medical license
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in institutional or correctional settings preferred
• Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $225,000 – $300,000 annually
