Job Summary: 

The Physician Liaison will use key strategies, techniques, and tools to engage and communicate to new physicians and provide assistance in community and physician-to-physician introductions, all in compliance with applicable regulations. Analyze and report team activities and referral trends. Executes the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward the community. 

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area


• Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, payers, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers

Knowledge & Abilities

• Knowledge of concepts of marketing, communications, and public relations.


• Knowledge of the health care field and orthopedics, neurology, physical therapy, etc.


• Knowledge of healthcare electronic medical records systems.


• Ability to communicate effectively with internal andexternal customers and providers


• Ability to be organized


• Ability to exercise independent judgment

Skills

• Skill in the development and implementation of marketing lectures/talks.


• Skill in promoting the organization in the community


• Skill in executing special events
