The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed
healthcare organization in Manchester, TN and we are looking to hire a
dependable Physician Liaison to serve as the primary relationship manager
between the hospital, specialty clinics, and referring providers across the
service area.
This role promotes hospital and specialty physician
services, strengthens referral relationships, educates providers on available
services, supports referral growth, and improves access to specialty care.
The Physician Liaison works closely with physicians,
clinic staff, and hospital leadership to support strategic growth initiatives
while enhancing the provider and patient experience.
The role also represents the hospital within the
community through outreach, educational events, and networking opportunities to
increase awareness of services and improve regional access to care.

What You’ll Do
Referral Development & Provider Relations
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with primary care providers, advanced
practice providers, specialists, clinic managers, and referral
coordinators
- Conduct
regular outreach visits to referring provider offices within the
hospital’s service area
- Organize
Lunch and Learn sessions to educate providers and staff about hospital
services, specialty clinics, and referral processes
- Serve
as the primary contact for referral sources regarding specialty services
and clinic access
- Identify
opportunities to increase referrals and support service line growth
- Monitor
referral patterns and collaborate with leadership to address referral
barriers
- Help
identify new growth opportunities among referral sources
- Maintain
ongoing communication with referral sources to support satisfaction and
retention
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- Relevant
healthcare experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 2–3
years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician liaison services,
business development, provider relations, physician recruiting, or related
healthcare field preferred
- Rural
healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Experience
working with physicians, clinics, referral networks, or service line
growth initiatives preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding
of healthcare referral processes and provider operations
- Knowledge
of healthcare services, physician practice management, and specialty
clinic operations
- Ability
to analyze referral trends and identify growth opportunities
- Ability
to work independently while maintaining regular communication with
leadership
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office and CRM or provider relationship tracking tools
- Strong
relationship-building, networking, interpersonal & communication
skills
- Strong
organizational and time management skills with a self-motivated approach
