Work Shift

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our growing and well-established cardiology team serving the Douglasville community. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Georgia’s largest and most respected health systems, providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care with a robust referral base and strong system-wide support.

The ideal candidate is a team-oriented physician who is committed to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, employed position with Wellstar Medical Group

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative responsibilities

• Call coverage shared within a collegial, experienced group

• Opportunity to collaborate closely with advanced practice providers, imaging specialists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
