Physician - Psychiatrist Moonlighter

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is expanding its psychiatric coverage team and seeks a PRN Psychiatrist to provide inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry moonlighting coverage within a highly collaborative behavioral health program serving adult psychiatric patients at Sibley Memorial Hospital, located in Washington DC.

You'll join a supportive psychiatric team that values collaboration, professional respect, and exceptional patient care while providing meaningful supplemental clinical opportunities in a well-established behavioral health program.

Responsibilities

• Weekend psychiatric coverage for adult inpatient behavioral health unit


• Consultation-liaison psychiatry coverage as needed


• Admission evaluations


• Medication management


• Treatment planning and documentation


• Collaboration with psychiatric social workers, nursing staff, and attending psychiatrists

Qualifications

• MD or DO


• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry


• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, DC


• Strong inpatient psychiatry experience


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
