PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adult female patients

Patient Volume/Census: Screening: 100/day; Diagnostic: 30-35/day; IR procedures: up to 7/day

Case Mix: Breast imaging (screening, diagnostic, and image-guided procedures)

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsies

Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

MRI-guided breast biopsies

Image-guided breast needle localizations

Screening and diagnostic mammography interpretation

Breast ultrasound interpretation

Breast MRI interpretation

Contrast-enhanced mammography (preferred)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)

Board: ABR Certified in Diagnostic Radiology

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS (required)

Experience: Breast imaging fellowship or equivalent experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography interpretation.

Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI studies.

Perform image-guided breast biopsies (stereotactic, ultrasound, MRI-guided).

Perform image-guided breast needle localizations.

Provide comprehensive breast imaging care in an outpatient setting.
