Physician - Urgent

Join the team as a full-time Physician dedicated to delivering exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for homebound patients and their families in Bergen County, NJ. Seeking a compassionate professional with a New Jersey physician license, specialized training in primary care, and ideally, geriatric expertise. Certification in family practice or internal medicine along with an active CDS and DEA license are prerequisites. This role is also available for part-time work, accommodating a 3-day workweek.

Role:

Provide direct medical services and consultations for primary care homebound patients while adhering to productivity guidelines.

Continuously assess patient condition and treatment effectiveness.

Maintain thorough patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Uphold New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services Ambulatory Care Regulations and other relevant standards.

Act as a liaison with patients, families, health agencies, and community organizations.

Contribute to staff education initiatives.

Follow infection control and safety protocols.

Participate in community outreach efforts as needed.

Schedule:

Full-time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with one weekend shift per month

Holiday Rotation: One summer and one winter holiday
