DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITIONwill Partner with Senior Physicist to support department clinical and equipment QA program.machine QA on Varian True Beam with Align RT, IDENTIFY, HyperArc, Varian Cones, GammaMed iX HDR afterloader, xStrahl Superficial Therapy Unit and Philips Brilliance Big Bore CT using Dose Lab and Sun Nuclear software.in radiosurgery treatment planning and plan checks using Eclipse, Velocity, Aria, ClearCheck.radiosurgery procedures at the machines to provide physics guidance regarding IGRT and surface guidance implementation and ensure safe workflow.department clinical QA meetings and participate in weekly and closing patient chart QA.initiative to read current literature to apply latest knowledge to clinical decision process.quality improvement projects to support clinical, software and machine quality maintenance initiatives.Education: Master of Science in Physics or related field.Experience: completed residency in Radiation Oncology Physics.Certification: Board Eligible.CERTS: Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (American Board of Radiology, American Board of Medical Physics or Canadian College of Physicist in Medicine).
