The role of a Picker is to locate and pick all items that a customer has ordered from inventory by means of carts, racks, containers, etc. The Picker then collects all items in a safe and careful manner and places them in the Consolidation Area. 

Other warehouse duties may be required, as directed by the supervising manager.

• Able to pick with speed and accuracy 
• Enjoy meeting daily & hourly goals  
• Arrive to work on time, you are reliable. 
• Utilize warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as directed by management.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Employees have daily performance goals which will be critical to success.
• On your Feet for up to 10 hours and many walking 10 + miles per day. 
• Comfortable and confident with hand scanners, I-pads and other 

Requirements

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous "picking or stowing" experience is preferred, but not necessary
• Must be able to meet daily metric goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain self-motivated.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Must have a Safety first attitude

Physical Demands:

The Picker position requires the following physical capabilities:

Standing for Long Periods: Ability to stand and be on your feet for 10+ hours a day

Working in Extreme Weather Conditions: Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and assist with team lifts of items heavier than 50 lbs as needed.

Team Lifting: Collaborating with other team members to safely move large and bulky items.
