Picker Packer

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9AM to 5:30 PM

The Republic of Tea, a family-owned and environmentally responsible company, is seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our Shipping team in Nashville, IL. What You’ll Do:

• Pick & Scan Orders: Use our automated pick carts and light assignments to accurately gather products by scanning and verifying lots.


• Quality Check: Audit items as you go to ensure top-notch quality for our Citizens (customers).


• Pack with Care: Safely pack orders using proper materials and sealing methods for secure shipping.


• Shipping Confirmation: Participate in order finalization throughout the day.


• Rotate Roles: Learn and perform all aspects of the inducting, picking, and packing process.


• Maintain Safety: Identify and correct unsafe practices, ensuring a clean and secure work environment.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred


• Manual dexterity to handle single items and case lots


• Able to
  lift and push 50 lbs. multiple times daily


• Comfortable standing or walking up to 12 hours/day


• Strong attention to detail and basic math/reading skills


• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision


• Ability to work under pressure with speed and accuracy


• Basic computer literacy or willingness to learn our ERP system


• Minimal forklift experience a plus
