Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to join a warehouse team in Pryor. This role is responsible for filling and packing orders, preparing saws for shipment, and maintaining accurate stockroom operations. The Picker/Packer will ensure all orders are completed to specification and handled with care to support smooth distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading, sorting, and moving of saws and parts by hand or with material handling equipment.
• Read work orders and pick lists to determine part numbers and quantities.
• Fill orders from inventory and complete order receipts.
• Assemble and pack orders into containers for shipment.
• Prepare saws for shipping, including wrapping and securing loads.
• Transport filled orders to the production floor or warehouse.
• Construct boxes, crates, and containers as needed for shipping.
• Stock shelves and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Tag and mark containers with identifying information.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or wrapping machines.
• Complete daily production sheets and work tickets.
• Perform general cleaning duties and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards.
• Strong oral comprehension and expression skills.
• Ability to read and understand written documents and pick lists.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (dollies, forklifts, pallet trucks, wrapping machinery).
• Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, email, and databases.
