Pilates Instructor

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

This is a Full Time Year Round Hourly Position

Pay: $ blank per class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anticipated Start Dates: The Beginning of November

Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Conditions: Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position.

Overview of Position: The Pilates Instructor for the Wellness and Fitness Club at Windham Mountain Club leads classes, creates personalized fitness plans, and provides guidance to guests to help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Pilates classes in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Create classes for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications for guests.
• Teach proper form, alignment, and breathing techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized studio.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Keep accurate guest records and session notes.
• Promote wellness services and products as appropriate.
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, ethics, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pilates certification from a recognized program.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• 3+ years of instructor experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of yoga, Pilates, and body mechanics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, adaptable, and guest-focused approach.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Physical stamina to lead fitness sessions and demonstrate exercises
