Job Description - Pilates Manager

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Pilates Studio Manager for their Rock Road and West Central locations in Wichita, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, energetic, health and fitness-minded, and passionate about helping others feel better, move better, and live better. This role involves building a personal clientele, hiring and mentoring instructors, and overseeing studio operations. It is a sales commission position with a flexible schedule, requiring 25-30+ hours per week.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet studio objectives and performance goals.



  • Mentor, train, and manage instructors and interns.



  • Instruct effective, motivating, and safe Pilates sessions.



  • Train clients using various Pilates equipment in small group and one-on-one settings.



  • Manage individual, studio, and clientele schedules.



  • Handle administrative tasks related to records, session sales, and payroll.



  • Communicate regularly with management, co-workers, and club staff.



  • Inspect equipment and studio to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and safety.



  • Provide demonstration sessions for members and co-workers.



  • Participate in promotional campaigns, in-services, and staff meetings.



  • Engage in regular outreach with clients and prospective clients to maintain and grow the business.

  • Be open to feedback and committed to continuous growth and education.



  • Be goal-oriented, energetic, positive, and motivational in teaching style.



  • Be punctual, reliable, and consistent.



  • Work harmoniously with others and teach to appropriate levels.



  • Provide sessions that are inspiring, safe, and challenging.



  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work/studio environment at all times.



  • Promote events, workshops, and happenings scheduled at the studio and club.



  • Abide by Genesis Health Clubs' values, culture, and expectations.



Candidates should have accredited Pilates Teacher Training and at least one year of experience working with Pilates clients on Reformer and other Pilates apparatus.
