 Job Summary 

The Pinwheel Kitchen Shift Supervisor oversees shift operations within the Pinwheel Kitchen, ensuring food quality, cleanliness, safety, and guest ready execution. This role leads and supports team members during active service, maintains standards, and assists with prep, stocking, ordering needs, and guest service as required. 

 Accountability Chart  

At New Holland Brewing Company, every role has an Accountability Chart that clearly defines the 3–5 core outcomes the role owns to move the business forward. The Accountability Chart helps candidates and team members understand what success looks like. 

• Maintain standards for daily production: Ensure consistent food quality, portioning, pace, cleanliness, and safety during assigned shifts 

• Work with Manager on purchasing and inventory process: Assist with ordering, receiving, stock levels, and variance reporting 

• Interview, train, and support hiring: Help onboard, train, and develop team members under Manager direction 

• Respond to customer concerns and accurate cash handling: Address guest issues promptly and oversee accurate transactions/documentation 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and act in a manner consistent with our Mission, Vision & Values 


•  Provide real-time leadership, coaching, and accountability to the team during service 


•  Oversee shift execution including station readiness, stocking, cleanliness, and organization of all BOH areas 


•  Enforce consistent recipe execution, portioning, rotation, temperature controls, and food safety standards 


•  Monitor and communicate ordering/receiving needs; verify product quality and freshness 


•  Support accurate cash handling, comps/discounts, documentation, and end-of-shift procedures 


•  Partner with the Kitchen Manager on operational improvements, opening/closing, and team development 


•  Lead by example through active participation in prep, line work, cleaning, and guest support as needed 

 Required Qualifications 

•  Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen/restaurant environment 


•  Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills with a team-first mindset 


•  Proven ability to multitask with urgency while upholding food quality, safety, and cleanliness 


•  Basic math proficiency and comfort with cash handling and documentation 


•  Flexible availability for nights, weekends, peak periods, and occasional extended shifts
