Pipe Coating Associate

Description

• Apply coating paint to a variety of pipes/parts.
• Load and unload paint line, monitor operations, make adjustments, and record operational data.
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment as required.
• Perform cleaning and color changes as required with the ability to avoid contamination.
• Inspect completed workpieces for defects as required to maintain quality standards.
• Assist others in all paint operations.
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
• Inspect painted parts to engineering standards.
• Read work orders to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions and tolerances, proper labeling of parts, etc.
• Select and use a variety of lifting and rigging with overhead cranes to safely move materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must demonstrate an ability to follow written instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as required to discuss training, general direction, and other operational related tasks
