MCI is currently seeking a Pipe Foreman based in Effingham, Illinois. 

Our Pipe Foremen are responsible for working closely with Superintendents and fellow team members to ensure accuracy on the job sites and assist in project completion and troubleshooting. This position records and tracks productions quantities and compares to the estimated costs in order to meet or exceed job specifications. In addition, the Pipe Foreman is key to ensuring safety and applying fundamental knowledge of trenching and excavating; they must also be able to read and interpret blueprints. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, communication and critical thinking. 

What makes you successful in this position?

• Previous construction, heavy civil construction, or project management experience. 


• Trimble or TopCon experience in a previous work environment.  You must be able to use an iPad and computer equipment regularly.


• A demonstrated track record with safety while excavating and trenching.


• Team player mentality and the desire to be a part of a successful, hard-working team.


• Superior time management and technical capacity skills.

The pay range for this position is commensurate based on experience. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
