Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Pascagoula, MS that is the leading provider of quality construction, manufacturing, engineering, repair, and conversion products and services to the marine industry.

The Pipe Laborer/Helper will be responsible to assist our pipefitters and welders in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems on marine vessels and industrial job sites.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the layout, preparation, and installation of pipes, hangers, and supports
• Assist in the layout, preparation, and installation of pipes, hangers, and supports
• Transport and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Measure, cut, grind, and clean piping components as directed
• Help with rigging and securing of pipe sections during installation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including removal of debris and scrap
• Follow safety guidelines, including use of PPE and proper handling of tools
• Support welders by prepping materials and cleaning weld joints
• Assist with pressure testing and flushing of systems when required

• 2 years of experience in shipyard.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow verbal/written instructions
• Physically fit: able to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, outdoor or indoor industrial environment
• Safety-focused mindset and willingness to learn
