PIPE LAYER

Description

Pivot Excavation, LLC is now hiring a Pipe Layer that will be working year-round.  We are looking for a quality, hardworking individual to start as soon as possible. We have growth opportunities available; we are looking for quality, driven and organized people. Advancement to a Heavy Equipment Operator will be encouraged. We are based out of Draper, our work is mostly in Salt Lake, Utah & Tooele Counties. Pay is competitive, based on experience & is progressive based on the amount you contribute to the success of the team.  

Requirements

• Show up on time each day.
• Shooting and Checking Grades. 
• Ability & Knowledge of being a top hand if needed.
• Assist crew in installation of subdivision utility piping.
• Follow instructions given by site foreman.
• Help create a safe work environment.
• Use various hand and power tools.
• Assist crews in every aspect of the work.
• Manual labor includes shoveling, sweeping, and raking.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Working Knowledge of grade road & laser
• Ability to use power hand tools & small equipment. 
• Strong work ethic
• Use various hand and power tools.
• A valid driver’s license and Reliable transportation to the job site
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift 75lbs regularly.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
