Pipefitter

Description

· Accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.

· Install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

· Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other        methods.

· Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

· Select pipe sizes, types, and related materials, such as supports, hangers, according to specifications.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Pipefitter.

· Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.

· Experience in reading blueprints and ability to understand schematic diagrams.

· Proficiency in welding, soldering, and attaching pipes proficiently with great precision.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

· High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification will be an advantage.
