About the Opportunity

We’re hiring a Pipefitting Superintendent to lead commercial mechanical piping projects throughout Southeast Florida. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll manage crews, ensure safety compliance, and drive quality and productivity on jobs ranging from chilled water to natural gas systems. You’ll be working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver top-tier mechanical piping installations across major commercial and industrial builds.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Direct daily field activities, crews, and subcontractors to maintain jobsite productivity and schedule
  

• Oversee layout, installation, and inspection of mechanical piping systems (chilled water, hot water, gas, etc.)
  

• Enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance through daily huddles, toolbox talks, and PPE enforcement
  

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and specifications
  

• Track labor, material, and equipment needs; report daily activity and progress
  

• Support project startup, system testing, flushing, and inspections
  

• Provide guidance and mentorship to foremen, journeymen, and apprentices
  

• Collaborate with PMs and procurement for material coordination and constructability reviews
  

• Maintain field quality control and ensure installation meets specs and standards
  

What You Bring

• 7–10 years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience
  

• 3+ years in a leadership/superintendent role
  

• Experience leading projects with mechanical scopes up to $2M
  

• Strong knowledge of piping layouts, mechanical systems, and installation best practices
  

• Ability to read construction drawings, schedules, and use tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and iPads
  

• Understanding of codes (ASME, NFPA, OSHA)
  

• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  

• OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to complete within 30 days)
  

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; fluent English required for safety and documentation
  

Preferred Qualifications

• NCCER Pipefitting Certification
  

• Experience in healthcare, education, or mission-critical facilities
  

Requirements
