  • Coordinate and lead meetings with external stakeholders; including developers, contractors, municipalities, and utility owners to define requirements, set expectations, and negotiate risk mitigation strategies.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration by working closely with internal departments such as Legal, Land, Operations, GIS, Corrosion Prevention, Asset Integrity, and Safety to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Analyze proposed construction plans (e.g., roadways, buildings, railroads) near pipelines to identify potential conflicts and risks.

  • Calculate the impact of construction activities on the pipeline, including potential stresses, vibrations, and other hazards.

  • Develop and communicate design modifications, protective measures, or other solutions to ensure pipeline safety and integrity.

  • Support pipeline integrity projects including in-line inspection (ILI), direct assessment, hydrotesting, and anomaly investigations.

  • Ensures the safe operation of pipeline facilities by evaluating proposed construction or development plans that might impact the pipeline's right-of-way.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable codes and regulations (e.g., ASME B31.8S, NACE SP0169, API 1160, PHMSA, TRRC and DNR) and ensure all project work adheres to these standards.

  • Provide engineering support for audits, regulatory inspections, incident investigations, and compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in the midstream industry, with a focus on pipeline integrity, construction, or encroachment management.

  • Strong understanding of pipeline design, stress analysis, corrosion mechanisms, and integrity assessment techniques.

  • Experience with ILI tools, corrosion monitoring systems, and data interpretation software (e.g., ROSEN, Baker Hughes, or GE tools) is preferred.

  • Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., GIS, MS Project, PCS, or integrity management systems).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

  • Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
