Job Description - Plaintiff Litigation Associate Attorney (Washington, DC / Hybrid)

The Washington, D.C. office of Tycko & Zavareei LLP is currently seeking litigation associate attorney candidates, licensed in the District of Columbia, with 2–3 years post-law school litigation experience (JD 2022–2023) for employment opportunities beginning fall 2025.

Comprised of 21 attorneys based in Washington, D.C. and California, we represent groups and individuals in their efforts to call out wrongdoings, hold powerful interests accountable, and advance safe practices, economic fairness, and social justice nationwide in large-scale impactful litigation. Our mission-driven practice focuses on consumer class actions, whistleblower qui tam litigation, appeals, and other complex civil litigation primarily in the fields of consumer protection, products liability, predatory lending, privacy, wage and hour, higher education, defamation, civil/human rights, and other areas that serve the public interest.

Our Openings: We are currently seeking employment inquiries from licensed attorneys with 2–3 years of post-law school litigation experience, who are interested in litigation associate opportunities, at the third- and fourth-year level, beginning fall 2025 in our Washington, D.C. office.

We offer competitive salary and benefits, flexible hybrid-remote working arrangements, and a transparent bonus plan under which all of our attorneys share in the firm’s successes. The starting base salary for this position ranges from approximately $178,000 to $194,000 (based on years of practice), plus bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to, generous paid time off, paid holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, HSA, 401(k) with employer contribution after 12 months, EAP, commuter benefits, and more.
