Personal Donor Portfolio Management

  • Manage an active portfolio of planned giving prospects and donors, including blended and complex gift opportunities.
  • Lead donor conversations related to estate planning and legacy commitments with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity.
  • Develop individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans that deepen donor relationships and maximize philanthropic impact.
  • Partner with senior leadership, physicians, board members, and fundraising colleagues to secure documented bequests and planned gift commitments.

Integration with Major Gifts & Campaign Strategy

  • Support complex gift planning opportunities involving blended and deferred gifts for leadership and principal-level donors.
  • Contribute to campaign planning and execution by identifying and advancing legacy gift opportunities.
  • Educate and train frontline fundraising staff on identifying and referring planned giving prospects.

Professional Advisors & Internal Collaboration

  • Develop relationships with attorneys, financial planners, estate planners, and other professional advisors to support donor engagement and gift planning.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal/Compliance, and Advancement Services to ensure proper gift documentation, compliance, and adherence to Foundation policies.
  • Serve as an internal resource on planned giving strategies, tax-aware charitable planning concepts, and legacy giving best practices.

Marketing, Outreach & Stewardship

  • Collaborate with Communications and Foundation leadership to develop planned giving marketing materials, outreach campaigns, and donor communications.
  • Design targeted strategies that increase awareness and participation in legacy giving opportunities.
  • Oversee stewardship efforts that provide meaningful recognition and ongoing engagement for planned giving donors.

Data, Reporting & Program Management

  • Track, analyze, and report planned giving pipeline activity, commitments, realized gifts, and program performance metrics.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of donor intentions and planned gift commitments within donor management systems.
