Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology. \n\n## What You Will Do\n\n * Support the area Supervisor in all facets of job preparation, execution and follow up as prescribed by the Freeport-McMoRan standards, including time spent \u201cin the field\u201d to ensure readiness and availability of materials and equipment resources. \n * Under the guidance of the Equipment Reliability Standards (ERS) closely interacts with the Supervisor in the assigned area to establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings with key stakeholders. Review, prioritize and schedule work orders. \n * Responsible for \u201cRuntime Forecasting\u201d process execution and outcomes in assigned area. \n * Develop, monitor, and adjust schedules for assigned activities. Maintain these schedules in the management system. \n * Execute, establish, and maintain a history for all assigned activities in the management system (SAP) \n * Engage with onsite Global Supply Chain to control warehouse minimum/maximum levels and appropriate storage conditions of materials and parts. \n * Support execution of contracts by preparing scopes of work for internal and external jobs, initiates requests for parts and materials. Interface with Global Supply Chain department but may deal directly with vendors for the provision of services and equipment. \n * Collaborate with senior level Planners and first line supervisors in the planning and organization for planned major production shutdowns. \n * Understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of information in the management (SAP) system to achieve the assigned planning and scheduling objectives in assigned area. \n * Provide data to support maintenance management decisions, including departmental budgets and weekly forecasting. \n * Generate regular and ad hoc reports for site management to help measure key performance indicators. \n * Perform other duties as needed. \n\n\n\n## What You Bring To Freeport\n\n * High School diploma or GED AND \n * four (4) years specific experience in field maintenance in either mining/manufacturing or industrial operations; OR \n * four (4) years related field maintenance experience in either mining/manufacturing or industrial operations including two (2) years of specific Planning experience; OR \n * four (4) years of specific Planning experience in field maintenance in either mining/manufacturing or industrial operations \n\n\n\nOR \n\n * Associates in technical field AND \n * two (2) years related experience in field maintenance in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations OR \n * two (2) years of specific Planning experience in field maintenance in either mining/manufacturing or industrial operations \n\n\n\nOR\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in technical field AND \n * one (1) year related experience in field maintenance in mining/manufacturing or industrial operations OR \n * one (1) year of specific Planning experience in field maintenance in either mining/manufacturing or industrial operations \n * General knowledge of Maintenance Planning \n * Basic understanding of Mining and/or Process Equipment \n * Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications \n * Basic understanding of maintenance management systems and associated applications \n * Demonstrated professional/effective written and oral communications skills. \n\n\n\n## Preferred Qualifications\n\nWhat We Offer You \n\nThe estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $64,000-$87,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
