Job Description - Planning & Implementation Lead (1260193)
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Planning & Implementation Lead to support life sciences clients across the NORAM region.
In this role, you will lead new client implementations, lane setup, operational readiness, data governance, and performance monitoring. You will work closely with Operations, Key Account Management, Pricing, Commercial, and Quality teams to ensure each implementation is properly planned and successfully executed.
This position offers a clear development path toward full ownership of the NORAM Planning & Implementation function, with the opportunity to progress to Manager level once defined readiness criteria are met.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end planning and implementation activities, including new business onboarding, lane setup, and operational readiness.
Coordinate project milestones, deadlines, and action plans across Operations, Key Account Management, Pricing, Commercial, and Quality.
Ensure all required action plans are completed before client kick-off meetings.
Maintain the NORAM Coordination Sheet, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, version control, and alignment with global standards.
Prepare transit-time estimates for NORAM transportation lanes.
Support client-facing implementation meetings and escalate commercial or contractual matters through the appropriate channels.
Track key performance indicators, including on-time delivery, SLA compliance, and forecast accuracy.
Prepare performance updates for KPI scorecards and Monthly Business Reviews.
Identify and escalate operational risks that may affect implementation timelines, service performance, or business continuity.
Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Complete a structured 30–45-day transition and handover covering active implementations, client commitments, key contacts, and known operational risks.
Gradually assume full ownership of the NORAM Planning & Implementation function under the guidance of the Global Senior Manager.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
At least two years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, clinical supply chain operations, planning, implementation, or project coordination.
Experience working in a regulated environment; life sciences experience is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics.
Advanced English proficiency; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience with KPI reporting, performance dashboards, or data-analysis tools is a plus.
Familiarity with GxP/GMP environments, IATA requirements, 49 CFR, or UN3373 is desirable.
Exposure to process mapping, process engineering, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
Availability to coordinate virtually across NORAM, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC time zones.
What Will Help You Succeed
Strong ownership and accountability.
Excellent organization and the ability to manage several implementations at once.
A data-driven and detail-oriented approach.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Confidence working across multiple departments and with client-facing stakeholders.
Sound judgment when resolving or escalating issues.
Commitment to process discipline, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Motivation to grow into broader functional leadership.
Work Details
Office-based or hybrid within the NORAM region.
Regular virtual coordination across international time zones.
No travel required.
