Job description

  • Manage up to 3 Team Leads and oversee full pod operations

  • Provide daily support and guidance, resolving complex or escalated issues

  • Build strong working relationships with the VP of Growth and cross-functional Group Heads and Directors

  • Ensure full accountability for all planning deliverables within the pod

  • Identify process bottlenecks and lead stream-wide optimization initiatives

  • Contribute expert input to large-scale proposals and Tier 1 RFPs

  • Design team structures and lead planning resource allocation

  • Own pod-level budget planning and reporting

  • Conduct performance reviews for Team Leads and manage succession planning

  • Hire and onboard new Team Leads and senior-level specialists

Job requirements

  • 4-6 years in digital media planning

  • 3+ years of management experience across multiple teams or streams

  • Expert-level knowledge of DSPs, programmatic, and multi-platform media planning

  • Advanced client-facing experience, including strategic pitches

  • Proven success in strategic planning, process design, and team process building

  • Experience managing budgets at a stream and pod level

  • Strong hiring and onboarding skills

  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication capabilities
