Plant Associate

As one of our Plant Associates, your job will be to perform the daily process and tasks required to receive ans store inventory and distribute material, and any other activities or assignments needed in order to help production and inventory run smoothly.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be proactive in the use, maintenance and urging of others to use PPE.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand or forklift.
• Sort or place materials/items in designated storage areas.
• Mark materials with proper identifying information.
• Record material amounts or items received/distributed.
• Assist in mixing of raw materials to produce finished product.
• Assist in packaging of finished product.
• Maintain internal 5S organizational and housekeeping standards to keep areas neat and presentable at all times.
• Participate in inventory or cycle count activities.
• Assist in training and development of new employees.
• Perform inspection and calibration checks of equipment as required.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• May prep tanks, stands, and containments for off-site placement.
• Understand weight and measures.
• Load/unload trucks and tankers.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience preferred
• Warehouse/plant experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Punctual and diligent in adhering to work schedules
