Plant Care Technician

Arbor Care is looking for a full-time Plant Health Care Technician to join our team. We are a growing Delaware company that specializes in keeping lawns, trees, and plants healthy and looking their best.

What You'll Do

As a Plant Health Care Technician, you'll spend most of your day outdoors caring for our customers' landscapes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying fertilizers and plant/lawn treatments


• Treating weeds, insects, plant diseases, and nutrient problems


• Mixing and applying products safely and correctly


• Keeping simple records of the products and treatments you use


• Operating and maintaining spray equipment


• Following safety procedures and pesticide regulations


• Keeping track of products, fertilizers, and supplies


• Completing other related tasks as needed

Don't already have a Delaware Pesticide License? You must be able to obtain one within 6 months of being hired.

What We're Looking For

You should have:

• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record


• A high school diploma or equivalent


• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds


• Basic computer/tablet skills for entering customer information


• Some knowledge of plants, lawns, horticulture, agriculture, landscaping, or a related field


• The ability and willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions

Previous landscaping, lawn care, horticulture, or plant care experience is preferred but not required.

This is an outdoor position with exposure to weather, insects, fertilizers, and pesticides. Training and required safety equipment are provided.
