What Your Week Looks Like

Early in the week you're in the plant data — reviewing production output, material usage, scrap, and labor against plan, and figuring out which variances are noise and which ones are telling you something.

Midweek you're with operations leadership, walking through what the numbers mean and where the cost reduction and efficiency opportunities are. This is the part of the role where influence gets built.

You're running contribution margin and profitability analysis, modeling scenarios leadership is weighing, and preparing ad hoc analyses and presentations for management.

Around close, you're driving the monthly cycle — variance analysis, reporting, and making sure internal controls and US GAAP compliance hold up.

Throughout, you're looking for ways to make the reporting itself faster and more automated so more of your time goes to analysis instead of assembly.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounting
• Automotive manufacturing experience (required)
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of plant operations, production costs, and manufacturing KPIs
• Solid grounding in US GAAP and internal control processes
• Advanced Excel and strong proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools
• Comfort working cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership

This role is on-site in Anderson, SC. Relocation is not provided, and the client is not able to sponsor work visas.
