Job Description - Plant HR Manager

Recruitment & Staffing:
- Oversee the recruitment process for plant positions, ensuring timely and quality hires that meet operational needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop job descriptions.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Implement initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention.
Performance Management:
- Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Develop performance improvement plans for underperforming employees.
Training & Development:
- Assess training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and career progression.
- Support leadership development initiatives at the plant level.
HR Policies & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure that the plant adheres to all labor laws and regulations.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Conduct market research to recommend changes as necessary.
Workforce Planning:
- Collaborate with plant leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and make informed decisions.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in local area
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fine with commuting to above work location
