Ensures the plant complies with all safety regulations and standards and proactively champions a culture focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinates and directs through managers, all functions of facility operations, including but not limited to Manufacturing, Mfg Engineering, Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, OpEx, Human Resources and Finance Emphasizes utilization of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans Creates a culture of exceeding customer expectations, ensuring that the organization is highly responsive to customer needs and issues Accountable for the day-to-day decisions that directly impact the safety, quality, on-time delivery, efficiency, and profitability of the overall plant and identifies areas for improvement that align with business objectives Maintains a workforce of highly motivated and engaged employees and drives compliance to the ethics policy by holding others accountable for ethical conduct Attracts, selects, develops, trains, coaches, appraises and motivates the workforce to drive talent management and development strategies Assures timely and relevant communications and is responsible for establishing systems that would enhance intra- and inter-departmental communications Assures that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered Minimum 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, OPEX and/or related support functions in a manufacturing environment is required Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience is required Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Effectively drives and manages change, challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas. Demonstrates professional presence, communicates articulately and confidently. Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives. Demonstrated success in effectively and confidently providing “leadership” to employees in a constantly changing environment. An undergraduate degree is required.
