Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the plant, meeting production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong managerial skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Duties:
Manage and supervise all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution
Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality control
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain management and ensure timely delivery of materials
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency
Oversee plant maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery
Implement lean manufacturing principles to drive operational excellence and cost savings
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development
Skills:
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and quality control standards
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams and drive performance
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Education and/or Experience:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate major, MBA strongly desired.
Must possess a minimum of 7 to 10 years of Manufacturing Management experience in a consumer foods products company. Any combination of the educational and experience requirements is acceptable.
Strongly preferred is significant manufacturing experience in the frozen food industry. Individual needs to possess the leadership, organizational and communication skills appropriate for the position.
Individual needs to have strong computer and in budgeting and evaluating the operational and financial aspects of plant performance.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
Must have ability to write and describe operations plans and programs.
Needs to be able to make effective presentations on complex topics to staff, top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors as required.
