Job Summary / Objectives

The Plant Manager / Operations Manager is a key member of the Management Team leading day-to-day execution of Plant Operations including the establishment and optimization of Processes and Performance Metrics of the site. The Plant Manager / Operations Manager has site management responsibility for Safety / Compliance, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Facilities.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide Operations leadership for the organization. Demonstrate the highest ethical standards.
Oversee site safety and compliance management as it relates to employee and environmental regulations.
Be an engaged, hands-on, working manager who is accessible, willing to mentor, and sets clear expectations and goals.
Develop short and long-term strategies and operational plans to meet business performance (growth and profitability) objectives; gain buy-in and approvals.
Assist in development and lead execution of approved operating plans; achieve Weekly, Monthly revenue and EBITDA forecasts.
Actively work in ERP System to support Scheduling and Production Module.
Ensure that the Company is developing and implementing plans to achieve continuous improvement in its Key Performance Indicators and operational targets. Set operational and performance goals for each department which are aggressive, achievable, and tied to long-term goals. Instill accountability and motivation using this data.
Continually monitor manufacturing processes and equipment to meet or exceed safety and quality standards and comply fully with all applicable regulations and specifications.
Drive process improvements within manufacturing, customer service, and supply chain. Ensure site personnel are fully informed of the operational objectives they are supporting.
Take charge in high-priority situations. Identify process and equipment problems and develop solutions.
Evaluate the current team, develop appropriate succession planning and upgrade or right size the team where necessary to align with company objectives.
Conduct regular meetings with your teams to ensure that priorities are clear, and coordination is good. Interact constructively with other departmental staff members.
Facilitate resolution of issues between departments.
Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) throughout the plant to include 5S, visual displays (andons), Kaizen, etc. Undertake research to design and develop new processes or to optimize existing processes.
Work in conjunction with GM to lead the strategic planning process including capital investment and expansion plans as well as personnel skills requirements to support the strategic plans.
Other duties and special projects, as assigned.
Requirements

Position Requirements

8+ years of experience in a management position within the manufacturing industry. Ideally, in the Printed Circuit Board industry, but open to other relevant manufacturing environments.
Strong operations and/or technical background required. Prefer candidates who grew up on the manufacturing floor in operations and understand how to drive production, efficiencies and achieve results.
Demonstrates analytical decision making, accomplishes goals, and champions ethical business practices.
Can deal with problems involving several concrete variables in complex situations; ability to review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities.
Experience with Quality and Process Improvement methodologies.
Ability to Live and Champion the Quantic Culture, specifically:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP Systems, Acumatica preferred.
Onsite position in Culver City, CA
To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
Education:

Four Year Undergraduate Degree; preferably in technical field.

Travel:

No more than 10%
