Job Overview:

Reporting to the maintenance Lead technician, you will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in industrial settings. You will ensure that machinery operates efficiently and safety, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will be based onsite in Mesa, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, align, and dismantle machinery and equipment in accordance to specifications.


• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors and motors.


• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.


• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.


• Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure seamless operations.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment,5-S, and adhering safety protocols.


• Organize, inventory and put-away all maintenance consumables


• Label inventory racks and storage areas as agreed for easy identification

• Maintaining accurate inventory records via Kan Ban Cards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar role


• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.


• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.


• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in industrial environments.


• Collaborate with Lead to finalize maintenance storage locations


• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification in millwrighting preferred.


• Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar role.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.


• Physical stamina to handle heavy machinery.

Working Conditions:

• May require working in confined spaces or at heights.


• Shift work may be necessary, including nights, weekends or on-call availability depending on operational needs

• This position may require working in outdoor or indoor environments, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.


• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.
